Welcome
St Mary's Church of England Primary School grew from an idea put forward by a member of the congregation at St Mary’s Church, and here we are now with our first Reception class settled into school life. Ultimately there will be 210 pupils, in seven classes from Reception to Year 6. We are very fortunate to have many supporters and friends across the community who continue to work with us to promote the success of the school.

About Us
The school is now open and we were delighted to welcome our first Reception children to St Mary’s School. It has been an exciting journey thus far and we are looking forward to watching our permanent building come to fruition. Thank you for your support and encouragement with our venture as we work together to strengthen our school community.
Our Vision
Together with local parents and teachers we have developed a clear vision for our small, inclusive Church of England school which builds on the best of excellent established Church of England Schools, operates within a framework of traditional Christian values, and meets the unique needs of children and families in Norwood Green and the wider Southall area.
St Mary’s School commits to:
deliver high academic standards through a strong emphasis on the teaching and learning of spoken and written English;
develop children’s character and life skills to equip them for the future;
provide a relevant curriculum through drawing on a rich local culture and community roots; and
promote engaged citizenship and healthy living through an environmental focus.
Our aim is that all children, irrespective of background or prior attainment leave primary school fully prepared for the social and academic demands of secondary education.
